Rhythms of Ritual: Ethical & Cross-Cultural Considerations for Healing

Rhythms of Ritual

Description

This 2-day in-person training will include drumming, playing in sand, experiencing community-created activities, and learning how ancient traditions inform us in the art of healing. All of these experiential learning activities will take place  with sensitivity to cultural issues, ethical principles, and play therapy concerns. We will address the ethics of self-care and the ethical use of traditional practices from other cultures. Befriending paradox, drawing from principles of neuroscience, setting intentions, and integrating hands-on experiences will characterize the play and creative flow of this workshop.
